The Zoom Doggy Take
Everybody knows “Sumatra”, right? I call this the “punch you in the mouth” coffee. I taste most of the flavor on the back of my tongue, and the aftertaste lasts longer than most other beans. It’s a fairly ugly green bean, with a lot of variation one to the next. But man, it really pops when we roast it a little darker.
Where is this from?
This bad boy comes from the Sumatra region of Indonesia. This particular bean is a Mandheling Grade 1 coffee. But I’m sure you want to know more, so you can learn about this and other Indonesian coffee beans over at Remarkable Indonesian Coffee.
